I've seen padlocks with a SS cable with 2 eyes bent into the ends so you just loop and lock for both jackets and helmets, if that's what you're asking.

That would work. My 94 still has the OEM helmet holder, but the ignition key I have does not fit the lock.

I could just cut the whole thing off, then it would not bother me......

 

I upgraded my 92's old style passenger pegs with F3 models (like your 94's rearsets) - and was able to take it and my ignition key to a local locksmith and she was able to re-key the lock. She said it was harder than some others like that, but not impossible. Think it cost me like $20.
