Polished forks
So I removed my forks from my new to me f2 to have the seals replaced at my local garage but my friend and mechanic explained that because the forks have had so much corrosion polished off he doesn’t think that new seals will last long😩 there is no chrome on them just polished steel
what are my alternatives🤷🏼♂️

WTF, that's a new one. Why would someone strip the chrome off?
Anyway, you're only choice is to get new tubes.
1. Order some from honda - expesive, if they have them
2. ebay or local source - getting harder to find
3. Get an entire set of forks.
3a) Find a pair of 94 forks - then you'll get an improved suspension too.
3b) Find F3 forks and build a pair of F2 forks from them.
Anyway, you're only choice is to get new tubes.
