Default Opinion on Skullskins

I just bought one of those Skullskins and wanted some opinions. I don't know about anybody else but I've dropped my helmet a few times. I was going to post in the Off Topic but I rather ask my people!

I am not a fan of the design. Are you just using that as a cover for scratches on your helmet? Does it have some padding to help protect it incase it does drop?

They look okay, the designs are a bit extreme in my opinion

I'd like one that looks more like a regular human skull.

i think a spray painted helmet will lok better than that, you ride whit that in your helmet and you like a CACO that just run from a bankrobery ,my 0.02

If there is no padding to protect it from an impact then your helmet will take the same puishment from a drop as if it were uncovered. I was in a harley dealership the other day and another customer dropped one of their helmets from the shelf to a carpeted floor. As he went to put it back the gal behind the counter came over, took it and said they cannot sell it now because of liability. A lot of people I know won't keep a helmet for more than two years because they punish them so bad.
I do like the idea, I just don't like that execution.

I only bought the thing because I thought I was getting some kind of sticker. It's cloth and machine washable. No padding. It's not even reflective. I took a shot! It was only like $20 something bucks! The best part was the design. I got a thing for dragons!
