RE: oil change, now tranny ??
Alright, i have one more question before I go home to remove some oil. A guy here at work said that by running the motor with too much oil in it, i've probably overheated the oil which needs to be completely changed. Any truth to that? I've been running with the oil too high for the past 3 days. Do I need to go get more oil and do another change? Thanks in advance

overheated the oil, im no rocket scientist, but i dont see how more lube could possibly result in more friction, plus the good folks at the oil companies made the oil for that exact purpose to keep parts lubed and cool, oil doesnt over heat. the boiling point for these substances are so high, you'll roast your nuts before your oil ever starts boiling. oil over heated.lol . some one actuall said that?!
ps(i went through the same thing n didnt need to change oil again, f2 runs like the first day she was started)
