can anyone tell me the standard weight oil for an F2?

engine oil? 10W40 is what I'd run, Rotella T, or diesel oil is good stuff to run. anything but an "energy conserving" oil, which really only screws up your clutch.

i would imagine i wouldnt use synthetic? especially with almost 22K miles?

Synthetic is actually good for bike applications. I"d run it if I had cash. energy conserving oil is different, in that it uses some kind of friction modifiers that our wet clutches dislike, and it causes them to slip.

10W-40

And make sure it's motorcycle specificoil. The same oil that lubricates your engine also lubracatesyour gears.It has extra "stuff" in it to help fight oil breakdown due to the shear forcesthe gears place on it.
