hi last night i was on my way home from work when my bike started making some funny noises. it sounds really wierd like its not when you touch throttle from idle it stutters a bit and doent want to rev freeley. i checked the oil to make sure it haddropped down a little bit but still above the minimum mark i topped it up just to be sure and noise is still there can any one suggest anything

Can you describe the problem in more detail... when does it occur (at idle/under load/in 1st/from a stop....etc.)? what kind of sound is it? what kind of power loss do you feel?

 

You're gonna have to describe it a little better like the guy above said.

its not firing on 3rd cylinder i have checked that its getting fuel and i am just about to get another ht lead to test on it.

 

Is the plug sparking? What does the plug look like? Is it wet?

 

plug is not sparking but is getting fuel i put a new plug in and have tried swapping the plugs about to different cylinder. next i tried new ht leads today to see if that helped but after starting on all four cylinders droped back down to 3 after about a minute should have a different coil to try tomorrow but other that that i cant think what it might be.
