Default Newb Question

This may seem like a dumb question, but how much fuel is left when you need to switch over to run off the reserve? I had to switch over but it seemed like there was quite a bit of fuel still in... just curious...
also i was wondering if anyone knew any could write ups on clutch adjustment.... I am new to bikes and to me it seems like my clutch should start engaging a lot sooner than it does when i start letting out the handle i assume its and adjustment issue...

There are no stupid questions, only stupid people... The only stupid question is the one that's never asked

Consider your reserve as just enough fuel to get to the nearest gas station, the actual volume is in the manual.

For adjusting the clutch cable, if you look where the cable is attached to your clutch lever there is a round nut with splines on it.

To bring the engagement point closer you thread that nut clockwise towards the lever, to move the engagement point out you do the opposite.

The adjustment can only do so much if you have a stretched cable, then it's time to replace the cable before it breaks.

Thanks for the help, this is my first bike i put 45 miles on it yesterday right after i got my endorsement and I am going out again right now... I know the clutch cable is brand new it broke on the previous owner so it will just be a matter of adjustment...
