Default New Sprocket

I need to get a new sprocket and I am not sure how many teeth would be best. Any recomendations? The one that is on there is completely worn. The teeth are sharp points right now.

Is it a front? rear? Do you want to stay with stock gearing? Is it just normal wear? Or is something causing it prematurely. If its time for a new sprocket, you might consider replacing both front and rear and a new chain.

If the sprocket is that bad, the front is probably just as bad and the chain will also need to be replaced. Stock is 15F and 43R.

a couple months ago i needed a new chain so i got a 520 conversion kit. it came with an rk gold chain and vortex sprockets, the rear was stock and the front was -1. its not much but with the lighter chain and lower gearing i can notice a difference in acceleration but i'm not screaming down the highway at high rpm's either. hope this helps your search

So less teeth =acceleration and more teeth = top end? More or less

Brewtusgo with a 14 front 45 back makes the bike pull nicely 1st,2nd,3rd gears and its funny to have the low end torque for wheelies
