New 1993 CBR600F2 owner
I also purchased a '93 F2 about a month ago for £1100 (about $2000). It has new Bridgestone BT020s, new disks and pads all round. The cam chain was replaced at 40,000 miles and the bike was serviced before I collected her. The chain and spockets were worn so I replaced these yesterday.
She currently has 48,000 miles on the clock (45,000 when I collected her) and I commute to work on her everyday.
Despite the high miles the motor is sweet and she rides sooo smooth!
Laters!

Thanks for the warm welcome all
I've been looking forward to riding this new beast. It's nice to see that the F2 has such a loyal following. Anyone done any long distance riding on the F2 and how is the comfort level? The 929 beats me up after 100+ miles

Hey me too. I just bought a 1993 Blue and White F2 on Ebay. 5k original miles (verified). Gonna bring her home this weekend, can't wait! This is identical to my first bike, and I've always wanted another one like it.
Gotta get rid of that TBR pipe though.
