I'm looking at get a 1993 honda cbr600f2
Hi everyone,
Im about to join you all guys, I am looking to get a 1993 honda cbr600f2. I know from the old owner that I need to replace the timeing tinchener, Clean and adjust the carbs, Change the oil, Mostly change the air filter. It going to be a fun winter.

I would reccomend getting a MANUAL camchain tensioner, the stock ones are notorious for failures..They are available from American Performance Engineering (http://www.cbrzone.com/) and can be adjusted fairly easy from the top, just remove the tank and air box and use should be able to get to the thing on the right hand rear of the cylinder head

Welcome to the boards. That sounds like a great project bike. Is it going to be your first bike or have you ridden before? Make sure you pick up a factory service manual and that will help with your projects. If you need any help or info, feel free to ask here.
