Default Seized Motor CBR600F2 1993

Here we go. Been sitting for 13 years. Have all the carbs redone and ready. Pulled the plugs, put it in 6th gear and rocked the back tire, would not budge. Could see in the cylinders a little rust. Am going to soak cylinders in PBlaster. Was wondering is it ok to also spray the PB into the intakes and let them soak also? All the values are closed except the two in the #3 cylinder. Thanks for any help on this subject.

Ok Bought some PBlaster sprayed into all cylinders, and the valves intake ports. About 2 hours later took off the Alternator cover and put a socket on the nut. Tapped the socket handle with a rubber hammer. Did this a couple times and it broke loose. Have put more PB in and letting set for awhile before hooking up a drill to turn for a few quick turns. Seems to be turning smoothly.

You may be lucky. Pull the cam cover and pour some oil on the cams to help with startup lubrication. Some down the bores too. Turn the motor with the plugs OUT for about 50 revolutions, then replace the plugs.
Then pray, brother.
Good luck !

you may have the tankest of the tank bikes. let us know if the beast is running. i love the old hondas, but IMO, they are not worth a new motor. kinda burner like a murder gun.

Default Running

Everything works on it now. Runs smooth, quick response, will put a picture on once I finish the gas tank. Was really rusted, but have about 95% removed, then will seal it.
