Default Need chain and sprocket

Need to get new chain and sprocket for my f2. I seem to find lots of kits that give quicker acceleration, but what about the top end guys. I tend to ride on the highway now and then, plus I wil be riding to OC Maryland soon. The 3 hour ride at 6k with little 8k bursts does not seem like fun to me. Can someone recommend a chain a sprocket kit that will lower my rpm's. Also need recommendation for air filter (K&N?) and rear brakes (EBC sintered?).

Try this Gearing Commander: Motorcycle Speed, RPM, Chain & Sprockets Calculator

And don't get Vesrah cheap crap sintered brake pads, they've chewed up my rear disc.

I also need a new chain and sprocket. Any thoughts on cheaper eBay chain/sprockets, kits?

Check eBay for sure. I bought a cheap set a few years back. $100 with shipping and it lasted 12k miles. Last year I got a Regina XSO chain and sprocket kit. Much better so far and it was like $130.

I run a RK XSO 530 stock gearing on my bike and my girlfriends F2. They last forever, good quality x-ring chain and they're pretty cheap. I paid like 125 from my local bike shop for a chain and sprocket. I run EBC HH sintered pads, but they do eat the hell out of rear brake rotors for some reason.

So don't us your rear brake. Problem solved. LOL. I learned really quick what using a rear brake does on some surfaces and while making turns, etc. Would rather use mostly front and save the rear for emergencies only.

I have -1+3 and run ~6500prm at 70MPH. For brakes, EBC HH worked great for me. I also have a K&N installed by PO, it doesnt fit quite right so it is a pain to replace after cleaning but otherwise I love it.
