Okay so I bought a 94 CBR 600 that fired up when I bought it and right up until the main fuse for burned out. I ensws up replacing the starter solenoid relay and went to start it and it just clicks Everytime I engage the button to start it the solenoid clicks. I'm getting voltage at the solenoid from the battery I've got power to the bike and the starter is good. Now when I got the bike it doesn't have the top half of the air box but it didmt make a difference. Can't for the life of me.fihure out why it won't crank over. Anyone with any suggestions. Also could use a pic of what's supposed to I'm ndwe the tank as far as vaccum lines and fuel lines and their routes.

 

What voltage does your battery read? You can have enough to engage the solenoid but not turn over the engine.

 

Electricity isn't black & white, all-or-nothing, yes/no kind of thing. It's all shades of grey in between, meaning it comes down to actual numbers. You can grab 12v wires with bare hands just fine. But try doing that with 220v wires and you'll have completely different results. So do following measurements and post numbers here:

1. measure battery voltage with everything OFF, volts = ???

2. measure battery voltage with key ON, kill=run, volts = ???

3. measure battery voltage while pushing start-button, volts = ???
