Naked F2 with stock gauge cluster?
Is anyone running their F2 naked while still keeping the stock gauge cluster? I don't like having to rig the fairings up with zipties and screws everytime I work on the bike, so I've been keeping the side and tail fairings off and just running with the front fairing. I was thinking of taking off the front fairing and running an aftermarket headlight and mirrors, but I'm not sure how to keep the stock gauge cluster. My bike is relatively unmolested so I want to retain the original odometer that documents the true mileage of 42k.
Also, does the stock front fairing+windshield make a big difference when riding on the hwy?

im running neked as well until i can get my new fairings ordered. just ziptied the headlight in place so it wont fall out. still have the stock fairing stay which is what the gauge cluster is mounted to. but i plan on replacing the plastics.
if your wanting to go with the streetfighter look then i think removing the whole fairing stay and cluster cleans it up better IMO. all depends on your plans for the future.
Ive noticed a considerable difference when riding with and without the windshield on. with out it installed there is nothing to divert the wind above your body. you get all the airflow hitting directly on your torso unless you ride in a full tuck type position. when the shield is on it helps to move that airflow up and over your helmet for the most part.
