My CBR f2 project/1000rr conversion: official
I mentioned it somewhere, but don't remember where or when, but the truth is, with the stator cover and OEM rearsets I polished, the only reason I did that, was so that they would sell, 'cuz so many people seem to like bling crap... if I had known I was going to keep them, I would have powder-coated them black!

Anyway, on the cleanin' bit, I wouldn't say it requires any more work than any other shiny surface, really.
what about a black metallic!? its either black or polished, or wait for winter to do chrome, which is 2 hours away, but I would take several other parts I guess.
I am very undecided for future mods, though I do want to do something to that rear end, whether it be a sssa conversion, 240 rear tire, 1000rr swingarm (or something alike). I know some will trash my bike, but hey I like stretched & dropped bikes, though I do plan on getting a 1000rr or r1 next year which won't be lowered or anything like that (more of carbon fiber parts and stuff). Well other than that just cruising around on my f2. (:

This is the team I hang out with guys, High torque racing, sponsored by L&F distributors, so mostly all the bike are wrapped in vinyl with beer logos. My bike wasnt painted yet though.

Some people may trash your bike, but it's yours man. Ride and build what you like. If you don't, you won't enjoy it. I personally enjoy looking at just about all motorcycle builds. I know lowered and stretched, chrome plating, wide tire bikes aren't made for the track. The guys that build them know that also. They build them cause they want to and they enjoy the cruising. No worries, it's their bike, their money, and their business. Just send pics and details, that's all I request. Oh and ride it man
Thanks man, I dont even like those big big fat tires in the back though, haha a 240 is just a thought I cant get through yet. I as well appreciate any bike no matter the looks. Well I will see what I'll make my mind up with. I really like the sssa but no stretch
i lowered my bike finally and got it painted. looks cool for a F2. ill post pics when i can. have a question though, would heat wrap around the headers through up till my shorty exhaust eliminate any header nosie? sounds like my headers are loose or rusted or SOMETHING idk. if i can add a video i will as well

All you need to do is find a good spot and take some really nice pictures.
Props goes to your hard work. Small or big projects takes time and effort. I built a zx9r from the ground up and it meant a lot to me. Traded it for a truck for work, then found out the guy totaled it by t-boning a car.
Recently got a f2 this summer, was looking around to see what to do with it. Love the progress and look you preformed. Thanks for the insight.

Haven't posted in a while, dont think I'm not riding though. lol
Since I last posted, I have replaced the dogbone to the original, so went back to stock height in the rear, reason is fairings would scrape with passengers since the bike was too low.
