Default Idle Control

I finally got the bike running today (new plugs and everything is good)...while trying to adjust the idle, I unscrewed the idle control too far and it came off. Does anyone have a drawing that shows where (and how) to rescrew it back on??? Do I have to take the tank off???

It would help to take the tank off, just check the service manual. If you don't have one look at the stickies in the General Tech forum.

FWIW, if the carbs are adjusted properly, the bike should idle perfectly without that **** ever needing to be touched. In fact, if you look at what it does, it's more of a return throttle stop than an idle adjustment.
