Well it seems like I ran into a more serious problem than just replacing pads. (Or so I think) The problem lies where I circled in red. Technically the rotor is supposed to be in the middle of that small area next to where I circled. Well I thought that the pads were worn down which caused to rotor to rub the side.. Well the pads still had life left but for some odd reason, Whenever I tighten down the caliper, The rotor settles on the very left of the caliper which causes it to rub on the metal piece. As you can see, Its been eating up the metal. Why is this happening? It simply started doing this out of no where...

Yeah.. What I don't understand is that it did that before I ever even took off the calipers for the very first time!

Is the rotor bent? If you hold the mount for where the rotor attatches to the forks, does it move left and right? Hell, is the fork bent? Warped?

find a pic of another f3 of the same year and be sure your calipers match and that they are on correctly. I am not even sure if you could mount them in reverse but I never tried. Does this happen on both sides or just one?

They aren't mounted in reverse. I'm sure that the rotors aren't warped or even the forks. This chick did slightly backup into my front tire a few weeks ago though. But I mean she didn't even hit it hard enough to knock it over.... That bracket that is touching the rotor movies in and out very easily though... I can pull it out of push it it with no force whatsoever. Is that normal?

Would F3 calipers work by any chance? A friend is parting out his bike and now would be the time to get his calipers..

if it moves left to right real easy(left to right if you were on the bike), it should have resistance, may have to replace a grommet, bushing w/e it is. Mine moves with resistance up and down. Check the rubber spot under where you circled on the pic, might be worn way out.

no f3 calipers wont fit f2, different sized rotors.. maybe you can fit an f3 wheel on f2 forks then get the calipers?? not sure if that works or if you need the whole F3 front end.

What If I bought a complete front end from an F3? Would it fit my F2 frame? Hes giving everything away at the prices he is selling everything for. I mean I'm getting his Yoshi RS-3 for 60 Bucks! =)
