By the way, Junky, did you see my questions, near the current end of my build thread, about the F2 in West Monroe?

Did not - I'll go check that thread.

That's my install I did on mine. The DDM kit - 55W, Hi/Lo, H4 bulb in a 5000 or 6000K color temp is now $45. Not too shabby.
Thanks. I just picked up a 91 F2 and am looking at getting HID's for it. I have the DDM ones in my car so after seeing that they will fit made me happy. I've bookmarked the link so I can do this over the winter. Thanks again.

Welcome to the forums man!

No worries. I've had my HID's for about 2 years now, and not an issue, except for one 38degree night, I randomly bumped my horn button and the headlight cut out. I bumped it again and it came back on and I wasn't able to recreate the issue ever again.

I regrounded my ballast after that anyway just to be sure.

also, on highbeam, the bulb seems to dance a little - I see it reflected when I'm behind someone at a stoplight, but, on the road you don't notice it at all. It doesn't do it on low beam. Go figure.

Excellent advice!! This is what I'm doing. I'll get a new CBR 600 some day but I'll keep my F2.

Same here, really craving for a v2 streetbike but don't want to get rid of the f2 even though i don't really have room to store two bikes... On the other hand i DID sell my Cagiva last week so... ;-)

Cruiser? If that's the case, don't mess around, get a Harley. If you want that big Vtwin torque and feel none can compare to the Harley. What's that old saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. For those that would flame me for that, don't waste your time please.
