That kit's been available through Airtech for quite a few years now, if not more than a decade, and I shuddered the FIRST time I saw it!!

Ok, I know this stuff is a matter of preference, I'm just breakin' ***** here... truth is, the tail has potential, but then again, you can get the RC45 type race tail from those guys also, and it looks wicked sweet on an F2! Example:

Damn, I love the color scheme. Too bad it has fairings for the non-dystopian look. Just kidding everyone. It is very nice!

Dystopian!?!? Crap!! Big word Underground! Haven't used that in a sentence since English Lit!

But, for sure, that hideous Crea kit would look right at home in Brazil, or BladeRunner, or something of the like! For those of you that might be confused, I'm talking about Brazil, as in the Terry Gilliam movie.

Yes JNS, Dystopian look, i.e. Mad Max style. LOL

My Streetfighter is intentionally beat up to give it that Ratted out look. It sings beauty to some and others just hate that style. But she got it where she needs it.

I am of two minds on this particular job...
There are some guys who say that the F2 looks "ridiculous" with a modern tail mounted, and I completely disagreee - I know that it CAN look ridiculous, if it's not done right. For example: if you look at the lines of modern sportbikes, you'll notice that if you imagine a line, that kind of "sums up" the angle that makes up the "plane" the tail is on, it tends to be parallel to the angle of the top of the gas tank, and is often as high as the gas tank, making a nice flowing line from tail to tank. The F2 in stock style, does have this parallel thing going on, though the tail is not as high - my whole point is, the tail graftings/swaps that look terrible, are the ones that ruin the lines of the bike, and/or just have a very poor fit and finish, in other words, they make it OBIVIOUS that the bike does not come that way! The one you posted doesn't look too bad but the angle of that shot doesn't give you a good enough perspective, to see if things "line up" right, and look "flowing" enough to convince the untrained observer that this is the way this bike was made... I gotta say, it does look a little off, but once again, it's hard to tell from that angle... overall it seems like a decent job.

What I don't dig so much, and this is just personal preference, is the 600RR front, that particular generation of RR is MY least favorite, with regards to the nose, but aside from that, for lack of a better description, it just looks too "pointy" on the F2. All that said, the mounting/blending job was pretty well done, though I'm also not diggin' all the space between the tank and frame - it just doesn't look right.

The question, already posed by subyman, is: is it worth it? And of course, that depends on the level of ingenuity on the part of the guy or gal doing the mod, and whether or not they scored a great deal on the components.
Here's a couple of examples of swapped tails that I think look decent to pretty good - these ares just some photos I've got saved as examples, I've seen some really good swaps, I just don't have pics of 'em.

This one's looking pretty good - from this angle and distance, it does appear that this is how the bike is "supposed to look".

The tail could come up a touch on this one, and is it just me, or is does this exhaust can look enormous on there?!? Also, the exhaust angle needs to match the tail - it's kind of drooping a touch.

Don't even get me started on this exhaust! Tail looks alright, though maybe a tad too high this time.

Another enormous can, that's angled slightly "off" from the tail, which, could come up just a tad... I think his integration of the early generation 600RR front fairings is better than others I've seen, though.

Say what you will about the odd finish on this bike, I think the height and angle of this tail is darn near spot-on.

I suppose my faves of these examples is the first and fifth.

Yeah Mattson, but at least with that red bike, if you're backing it around, and can't see very well, you'll bump obstacles with the muffler and not damage the tail!!

Got any more info on this bike? I'm interested in the front brake setup the most.

Check my thread, Junky, those are the same as what I'm running... if the part numbers aren't in my thread, I'll get 'em for you.
