How to look less old school?
Not to thread steal; but Jank, F2's are pretty strong for a 1st bike. A starter bike for those who don't know what direction they want to go in for riding/culture. I am sorry Jank you had a problem child, but these are really easy to fix compared to other sportbikes. If you lived closer, it would've been running stellar as it should be.
srsly - you're getting a bit annoying with your blathering.
If you don't own a F2, and don't have anything constructive to add to a conversation, then just don't type anything. It's like you're trying to get moderated.
Personally I've had nothing but good luck with my 20 year old bike, mechanically, and everything else. I expect it to run and drive and act like a 20 year old bike, not some brand damn new supersport R6 like you keep on about.
Most of us haven't had to pull our motors, and especially as many times as you apparently had to.

I'm not gonna lie, I hated the look of the F2 in the begining! However, I learned to appreciate the look of the F2. The bike has never left me stranded. Everyday commuter! Just give it time. If you still aren't satisfied with it, then I suggest you sell it and get an R6 or 600RR.
JankCibberf2,
You were told - by me - to give it a rest. Since you've seen fit to ignore that & troll your negative attitude in another member's thread, you've just earned yourself a time-out. Whether it becomes permanent or not, is up to you. I suggest you think about that if you want to remain a member here.
Further, I suggest you take to heart the quote below by adrenaljunky below...

i agree, you should keep your money, you can buy an 07 car for like 2500 to 3500 on craigslist. I bought my F2 for 700 although it did need some love and attention (still needs more 0.o) but i love the older look of it. it makes it more distinct than all the newer bikes. The newer bikes DO look super sexy, but its sort of like classic cars. you have your modern cars that look cool and then you have the classic cars like a shelby cobra, or Camaro SS which are sexy but in a totally different category than a modern sports car. The F2 has that classic super bike look. (i don't consider the 1970's CB models super bikes even though they are cool)
