Default Heat transfer

On my 94 cbr600f2 took apart the heat sink plate, cleaned it and applied heat sink compound to both sides of the plate. Now the frame is getting hot for proper heat transfer and keeping the r/r at low in temp. If the frame is not getting hot then repeat the process.
