Default High beam Issue

Every time I turn my high beams, my left turn signal goes solid and the high beam does not come on. The turn signal doesn't blink like when the left turn switch is activated, i's just solid. This one problem is keeping my bike from passing inspection, so if anyone has idea as to what is causing this, please let me know.

I have already taken both switches apart to check for loose connections and everything seems to be where it is supposed to be. I also checked the headlight plus assembly and it looks good too.

Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like a wiring problem. Did someone mess around with the lighting wiring for some reason? Aftermarket turn signals or HID headlights? Sounds like the high beam is being directed into the left turn signal. Looks like its time to pull the multi meter out and start testing to figure out where the problem is. When you turn on the left signal, does it work correctly?

I would suspect you have a faulty ground somewhere.

that is a strange problem. i agree that it could be a ground problem. you need to pull out the meter and start testing with the switch on. you could have som exposed wire grounding out or something. so everything works like it is supposed to until you hit the highbeam?

If the blinker comes on solid when the high beam goes on I'd bet you've got some wires crossed. Find yourself a wiring diagram and start checking wires.
