Trying to pull the throttle cable up into it's slot but there dont seem to be enough slack? and way to loosen it? Help would be very much appriciated!

The proper way is to adjust from the carb, but the way I did it was to allow lots of slack on the throttle end by unthreading the threaded portion of the "throttle cable housing" if you will, which threads into the right handlebar switch. That will give you just enough slack on that end, with the consequence has having lots of play in the throttle

Again, the correct was is to adjust from the carb, but if your lazy or just want to get the cable on now without taking the tank off just yet, do the halffast/halfassed way I described
