Default Guidance on hoses for the F2...

Alright..so if you saw my other thread on here, you know I started unplugging things and turning screws and levers to figure out why my F2 stopped working....

I changed the spark plugs...but they were TERRIBLE to get out. Lotsa ppl here said it was a breeze and simple, but was an understatement. Barely got them out through the access doors.

Anyways, I took off the tank and air filter box to get to the plugs, I changed them, put it all back together, no changes (it still doesn't start, just cranks)

As I noticed, there are two tubes under the gas tank that apparently doesn't lead to anywhere. It just dangles. The following pictures will show you....

This picture shows you the two tubes... the fuel tank drain tube and the fuel tank vent tube.

Now my problem is the bottom.... here's a picture of what it looks like underneath from the rear left point of view....

Do these tubes just hang or are they suppose to go plug into somewhere?

Thanks for any guidance!

They are supposed to hang just like that.
One of them is the fuel overflow tube, and the other is a breather hose i think.

Really? Thanks! I was checking the service manual but it didn't say anything about the fuel drain tube and fuel tank vent tube to just hang loose. That is very odd.
