Default GP shift?

I have had my bike set up for GP shift for quite some time now, just wondering how many other folks are set up the same or if it ever was? Did you like it better over the standard 1 down 5 up? what do you feel the pros and cons of street riding like this are?

How did you set it up? Was it hard? I am guessing taking the tranny apart with everything

you just flip the shifter on the F2, actually its incredibly easy and takes about 5 min.

I rode an 09 1000rr over the summer with a GP shifter, and I hated it on the street. I can absolutely see it's benefits on the track, or any long-range, low-intersection ride, but as far as city riding went, it sucks. You have to downshift so often that it gets annoying to have to use the awkward uostrokes. I'm sure its something you'd get used to, but the down movement is easier than the up on a bike, and you'll use the down way more on the street than you would the track.

NO. Just removing the connecting rod on the pedal and running a wire up.
