Got my first bike today F2 CBR
Well just as the title says. I got my first bike today. It is a 93, CBR 600 and has just over 20,000 miles on it. I'm pretty excited about it. I'm signed up to take a beginners driver course in a week or two, well waitlisted but I'm going to call tomorrow and try and do some sweet talking. So what do you guys think. Advice, suggestions, commits. I'm going to be riding it this summer while I put an LS1 in my e30 BMW. Then this winter, if I'm confident enough with it I might try and do the 900rr swap. I just feel like I'll get tired of the 600. I know you guys are going to start knocking me already for that. I just have a speed addiction. I don't want all my 1000, 1200cc friends to leave me behind on the interstate. I mean, I'm putting a 400 HP motor in a 2,500 lb car. I hope to turbo that after I get use to the speed as well. I just can't get enough. So I feel like I'll want the 900 but maybe not. It is a ways off anyways so not worth talking about right now anyways. I'm just excited in general about the bike. I'm telling everyone so I thought I would tell you guys as well.

cramming a 300+ hp motor into a small old school M3...oh god thats going to be wicked...have fun with that...but as far as the 900 motor in the cbr...dont do it...you haven't even been riding long if at all...speed is addicting yes...but in the end skin is skin...and it doens't do well against concrete pavement. Be safe out there man...and welcome to the family

Well like I said, I'm not going to worry about the 900 for a little while. The e30 actually doesn't have airbags or anti-lock brakes. It's a pretty pure bare bones. The LS1 drops in nicely though. Thanks for the input on the manuals. I have been watching the forum for a little bit just looking for small pieces of information. I'll do what I can to chip in and thanks in advance for the help
