Default Is this a good deal???

Hey Guys,
Im new to the site. I wanted to know since I am a first time buyer if this sounds like a good deal? I found a 1993 CBR600 F2 with 17500 miles and the guy wants 2500.00 He says it has new tires and fluids flushed. Since I am a 1st time buyer I wanted to know what the life span of the bike is like in miles and how easy is the bike to learn on. Thank You

I have a 92 F2 and the bikes life span depends alot on the care that was given to it, but at 17000 its still got lots of life left in it, i have around 36000 on mine, and its still runs great!!

That sounds ok, id try to talk him down of course, mine wasnt in perfect running condition, i had to do some regular matinance, like change air filter, plugs (which made all the differnce), oil, and tires, but i paid 2000 for mine and he was asking 2500.

if you have never ridden motorcycles take someone along that owns and has driven them for a while and have them drive it. i really didnt know what i was doing when i was looking for a bike, luckily my dad was pretty knowledgable

hopefully this is of some help

Check out the NADA price http://www.nadaguides.com. If the bike is clean and sounds good, offer him $2050 and see how he reacts.
