Got out this morning and we had a nice breeze. decided to go over the bike again. I laid out what was left of the panels and held them up to the bike. I see how they fit and where they go.
I looked over the wiring. Somebody was uh creative. But most of the original harness is there. So I may have to do some creative wiring myself. I cut a lot of the wiring away to make things easier to see.
What is supposed to go here on the muffler and pipe ? Note the chrome wheel and swing arm. Ain't we fancy ?
.
I guess this is the ignition and the rectifier. Good place to put them.
I have to say that these bikes are laid out pretty well. The wiring is straight forward as is the suspension and engine set up. My first bike was a Honda CB500-4. This bike is just a further advancement of the Honda Inline Fours. I think I'm going to like this bike. Now if I could just get my leg over it.
That wiring is a nightmare. Some people just shouldn't own bikes. Good luck.
You're suppose to have springs holding the exhaust can on.
Not sure where you got the DVD player, but I can tell you right now, it doesn't belong on the bike, just sayin.
Ohhh Maaaaan. No movies going down the road. Actually that DVD player came form other junk that was laying around the bike. I got some early 70's stereo equipment and that old DVD player will play CDs just fine. Tomorrow night I'm going to pick up what parts are left of the bike. A welding table and stand. Bunch of older RC planes and parts. That should do it for me. Oh and a home gym. Maybe if I work out, my old fat *** might be able to get on the bike.
In another post I talked about the bigger air compressor, the parts washer, and torch setup.
I've needed this stuff for years. Now my home garage is getting close to being complete.
Anyway, I'll try and get the electrics sorted out. If I can get an oil light, I'll put some oil in and a filter on it..Then see if the oil light goes out. That will tell me I have oil pressure. If I have oil pressure, then I'll check the compression. Then attempt a start up.
