So I haven't posted for a very long time. In fact, I haven't been riding my old CBR 600 for almost two years. But this summer I decided to work on her again. So what I did was rewire... well, pretty much everything. She now sports a Motogadget M.unit Blue which is a rather neat setup really. I also made a seat and I am just about to figure out why she refuses to run (carbs cleaned, she turns and everything, so it might have to do with the sparks I reckon). Anyways, there were some leftovers after having made the new wiring loom. I also installed some new buttons and wired those internally in the handlebar.
Oh, I moved the choke to the side of the frame too.
On the pic below is some of the stuff I cut away from the wiring loom/controls.

Reason: Added info.
That pile of wires is terrifying.
The red, yellow, green buttons are way cool.
The m-unit blue is next level bad ***.
Haha, thanks. I must admit that there were times when I was sure that I would never be able to fix the wiring but by using trial and error I managed to hook her up.
Whoa. That looks like a huge amount of work. Really cool stuff
Hopefully you get the troubles ironed out
Thank you! I have put in more money and time than could be justified to an outsider but at the same time this has been a really rewarding experience. Riding something you have been working on, knowing every inch of the bike, is an incredible feeling as you all know.
