Default Fuel Switch For 92F2

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know where I can get a new fuel switch assembly? My switch no longer functions when switched to reserve. Aside from a dealer, are there any other places to get this part?

Thanks, Krokus

You DO NOT have to buy the expensive F2 vacuum petcock (fuel valve). The much cheaper F3 unit works just fine. It will bolt right on and the original filter sleeve works with it too. Just remember to cap off the vacuum line from the #1 cylinder. I'm still trying to figure out if and how it changed my reserve level, but if it did all I have to do to drop it back down is use a pipe cutter and take a little off the top (as it were). I've never been a fan of vacuum petcocks. It's the one place where the Honda engineers and I tatally disagree. Of course Honda stopped using them in 1995 so what does THAT tell ya?

Thanks you guys for all the suggestions. I didn't want to try ebay because I didn't want to purchase someone elses old petcock assembly because it would be just as old as mine. My local bone yard wanted me to purchase the gas tank as well, no thanks mine is perfect. So, I think I will do as Tazshido suggested and go the F3 part route.

radtechrider thanks for the links and FNQuickF2, I like your bike, sweet and clean.

Thanks Again Guys,

Krokus
