fuel problem... Fuel pump?

Does anyone know if there is any kind of fuel filter on the f2 (my bike came in pieces) and if it doesnt does someone know were i can get one to put on before the carbs?

There is no in-line fuel filter on the stock F2.

When you say intake, are they the ports on the block (not the carbs)?
Also, there are two hoses coming off the carbs that go to some kind of valve assembly according to the diagrams, but I cant tell if that valve connects to anything else. The head mechanic at my local shop said that valve is for emissions, and if I'm not worried about emissions, it is ok to leave those two lines just kinda hanging out. Any opinions?

Does anyone know whats the best to use to clean out your gas tank? I heard vinegar but is there anything else? something better?

how bad is it? I used POR-15 but I only had light rust.

There is no rust that I can see looking at as much of the inside of the tank as possible. I just wanted to flush it because its been sitting for almost two years. Is there anything else i could flush it with that wouldn't require me to have to reseal the tank?
