fuel petcock vacum line?

Default fuel petcock vacum line?

where does the vac line come from or go to from the fuel petcock, i just got this 92 f2 and i cant find a vac line. do i need one? fuel come out of the petcock pretty good with out it. thanks

if i am not mistaken just hangs down underneath the tank... make sure it doesn't get pinched under the tank.. it happened to me and the bike would stall every 5 minutes.

there is no hose hanging anywhere near the tank or carbs. do i need the vacume. where should i splice into if i need it?

take a look at these diagrams, its the best i can do at the moment, the first picture is the tank, the second describes which hoses are which.

I have 93 f-2 and I have 1vac line back side of petcock can only see from right side of bike looking thru to the back of pet cockvac line and 2 smog lines that connect to the bottom of tank and run to a canister under the seat (I have cali model )

Anyway we can revive those diagrams? I need them badly. I think my petcock may be bad. Mine will not leak gas at all...it did run before it was apart tho.

I think there needs to be engine vacuum to draw fuel through the petcock as I remember.
That way fuel does not run to the carbs when the engine is not running. I remove my tank all the time and fuel never leaks from the petcock even when left in the on postition.
