Default Flat spot

bad flat spot between 5-6k rpm. just had the carbs cleaned. they say ir needs a jet kit to fix the dead spot. thing feels like it's gonna stall going down the road. any ideas?

Mine bike has developed a slight flat spot too, around 4500rpm. Not bad enough to feel like it is stalling, just a little sputter in the power/exhaust. It came to when I rode in the rain, but has continued since then. Is there an adjustment that I can make, or do I need a jet kit?

I had the same problem!!! i went down a tooth in the front sprocket and that helped my flat spot. however i lost my top end so i did a stage two along w/myK n N.....damn loving it now.....sweet!!

Hi i get flat spots in my bike between50+ MPH but nothing before is there anything i can do to solve it? I did go and get dyno jets and set up on a dyno and it wasnt as bad after that but it's still there. below is the results of the dynojet. Thanks in advance. Des
