F4 shock to F2 swap questions
I just put an F3 shock on ($9.99 on ebay..don't know what year)... Ride height stayed the same, or a little higher... I don't know??!?! BUT, the ride is wayyyyy better... more "supple". The old shock must have been really shagged.
that was my main thing...i had the red spring before and i love the red accent so i waited till i found a new one with the red spring....guage is a Trail Tech Vapor and the light is an old style aztec8
all that and i never even sat on it when i finished....haha....anyways yea it raised it about an inch to an inch and a half in the back...now i can flat foot it but where i used to be able to spread my legs and still flat foot it i have to toe down just a hair...overall i am lovin it...i am even gonna say screw the wet roads and ride her to work
Well, I just got one for $5 plus shipping so hopefully I can get it installed soon. I figure I'll just see what it does to the bike and go from there. If I need to get the lowering link after that at least I'll have time before riding season here in Ohio.
too much nice stuff on eBay right now.

What's the big deal about raising the rear? If I had the option now, I'd give it a little more rear ride-hight. I'd rather do that than lower the fork tubes... Seems (in thought anyway...) that an F4 shock would be ideal... any thoughts?
