Default f2 help for a hurricane 1k

ok so i have a subframe and race tail from an f2 that is going to welded up to my hurricane. the problem is I cant see how the f2 seat "snaps" onto the subframe. what keeps it snapped in place? i see the seat can bolt to the fram but from some of the pics on the forum that doesnt look like what its meant to do. anyone help me out? or take some pics of their f2 seat and where it snaps in?

this is what it looks like with just the tail set up on the bike...... controlled madness, looks like a mess but its really not.... i promise! lol

well the seat doesnt exactly "snap" into place....basically there is that cross member near the battery that the tank bolts on to..i beleive it is actually right above the battery, and on the font bottom of the actual seat there is a little tab sort of thing that just goes underneath that bar...so the little tab is underneath...and the seat is above it...and then there are two brackets on the seat that simply bolt up to the subframe...its really not too difficult you just have to play with it a bit and it should fit...unless your seat is someway different? looks good by the way...how hard was it to get the subframe to weld on correctly? Im swapping a f4 subframe on my f2 soon.

That tail section looks like a single seat. My bike (92' 600 F2)has a driver seat and rises into a passenger seat. It also attaches as the last post indicated, with two bolts in the rear and a lip/tab system in the front. Do you have the double seat or are you going to put a single seat bucket seat on. Also you said you were going to the fab shop with the subframe, have you thought about having a custom seat panand brakets fabricated while you are there. It would just be a matter of covering the pan with the desired paddingat that point. You could tell them to make it a quick release system so you could pull a couple of pins and be removing the seat and farings with no tools. I assume you are going to make this a track bike and simplicity and speedat thetrack are desired.

i have the 92 f2 seat already so i will probly just use that. does the back end of the seat bolt directly to the fram? or some plastic piece like the battery tray? my gf has an f2 but we havent had a chance to get to it yet. as I remember the seat snapped onto the rear of the bike by hooking to something.... however from what you guys say thats not the case.

yeas it will be a track bike, a little heavy but i got this bike for 100 bucks with free f2 frame and cheap f2 race tail.
