are the f2 and the f3 front stay different?

 

yes they are different

the holes on the upper fairing might line up right but the windscreen for sure doesnt fit

 

I found that out the hard way... I got my bike...1st sport bike...93 F2 started ordering all this **** and none of it fit...Im like wtf!! Come to find out I had F3 fairings... Live and learn...

 

yep thats what happened with me

so now i have a perfectly good f2 stay and im in desperate need of a good f3 stay

i have a slightly bent f3 stay which brings up another point even when you get the right one
its vital that it be straight or it will throw off the fitment of all the fairings

 

Hey i was woundering what ur gonna do with the f2 fairing stay? Cause im in desperate need of one. I need to get my bike legal so let me know. Thanks
