Default F2 clutch problem

I am having trouble, my clutch is like a bad ex girlfriend it wont let go lol. I just got this 93 cbr 600 f2 from my brother and had to fix some problems, the petcock was leaking and beyond repair and clutch was slipping. replaced petcock and clutch and clutch cable. now i am having a diffrent problem the clutch still grabs even when i got the clutch lever pulled. i have tried adjusting the cable but still same problem. pulled everything apart and checked everything again looks fine.

Did you soak the fibres in oil before installation? If you did, you need to tighten the clutch adjustment at the clutch cover. Even if you think it is adjusted properly, tighten it.

yes i did soak them in oil but i am not quite sure what you are talking about adjusting it at the clutch cover. if you are talking about the clutch cable adjustmant i have it so tight right now that i dont think that it will completely releas the clutch. but dont fret i an not riding it now till i get this problem fixed. is there a way that the cam or foot that pushes in on the clutch on the inside of the clutch cover is wore out has anyone herd of that happening.

LOL Final step on any repair..........Look to see if you suddenly have parts left over.
