Default F2 Choke Problems

So heres my problem.. I let my bike warm up and I can ride it around with the choke on FULL but everytime I go too turn the choke off my rpm's drop and my bike shuts off.. Should I just leave the choke on all the time if so will this cause any problems?? Can anyone problem shoot this for me? I dont know what too do. I just purchased a new battery and did a tune up so i dont think that could be a issue...

Any ideas guys? Thanks!

slowly let the choke off, check your idle speed, might be too low

The first thing I would do is check my idle speed. Let the bike fully warm up and let off the choke slowly. If it is about to die, use the black **** sticking through the left side plastic to increase. Get the choke completely out and adjust your idle speed to the recommended setting.

My F2 would do this. Just carb adjustments. What "tune-up" did you do?

When your bike is warmed up, what's your idle speed? It should be about 1200RPM. If it's not, you might need to do a carb adjustment.

Right on!! When I first got my basketcase F2, this was one of the problems I had. I have since rebuild the carbs and engine, but the idle screw did take some adjusting.
