Exclamation Exhaust help

My bike when I purchased never came with passenger foot pegs. So I'm having trouble installing the muffler I have. I've been riding around with no muffler and I'm starting to feel paranoid about getting pulled over. I'm in need of just the right passenger foot peg for the exhaust mount. I'm not looking to spend over $20 for some used peg so cut me some slack Ebay overcharges for their used ones. Thanks

If you don't really need the footpegs and just want a solution for hanging the exhaust, just go to a hardware store and buy a short length of 1/8" thick aluminum stock (Lowes or Home Depot both carry this stuff - any local mom & pop stores do around where I live too). Cut it to the legnth you need - hacksaw will go through 1/8" fine without much effort. Drill a hole in each end and bolt it up in the rearset mounting holes. That's what most trackday folks do with their track bikes.
