It does look from the manual it goes to the water cooler then the block. Order the parts on tuesday and see where that leads us. Anybody have the part number on the exact gaskets and how many to order for the oil cooler? I only come up with 3 to order. I am thinking I short a couple.

Smoke is rolling off the new header wrap. Goes away after a few miles.

Going to try putting the original CCT on see where that leads us on the sound.

if it overheated the head may be warped in the auto shop i work at if we change head gaskets the heads are always sent out to be checked so things like that dont suprise us

+1 Replacing a head gasket without decking the head in an aluminum motor frequently doesn't still fix the problem. It still could be leaking through the head gasket.
