clutch slip at high revs

clutch slip at high revs
alright, ive been getting clutch slip at about 10-11000RPM
at this point it just breaks free and i have to ease of to about 1/2 throttle to get it to grab again.
Ive got a new clutch coming from germany.
My question is how come it slips at high revs, not down low. It pulls fine at WOT of the line, but slips at high revs
thought it would be the other way around.

RE: clutch slip at high revs
The reason it slips at high rpms is because everything is moving A LOT faster all up in there lol. when its down at low rpms the gears are moving a ton slower than at high rpms. Think of it like this if you hold something in your hand and then slowly try to pull if from your grasp with the other it will be a lot harder to do the when yanking it out hold the item with the same pressure. LOL does any of this make sense? ;o)

RE: clutch slip at high revs
I got my new clutch plates and springs and was going to put them in on the weekend but upon closer inspection i found the clutch plates still had plenty left in them, so I just put new springs in, 10% stiffer than stock.
Worked great,no more clutch slip!!! yeah!
easy fix.
