Smile clutch question

Hey everybody I just joined this website and have a question hopefully somebody can help me out. I own a cbr600 f2 and picked up from some guy with 8200 miles on it in december 2008. I am not very familiar with honda cbrs , im used to owning older bikes. I was wondering if it was normal for the bike to be shifting loud specifically when the bike warms up especially in first gear as well as the clutch breaking point seems to be late when the lever is almost out. The motorcycle doesn not slip and grabs every gear even second which is notorius for some issues. If anybody can suggest anything i can do ? let me know im thinking it might be a clutch adjustment but im not sure how to do it an these bikes let me know what you guys think ?

twist the thing next the the clutch lever until it reaches your desired grabbing point.

You can also adjust the clutch at the other end of the cable (where enters clutch basket on right side of bike).
