The noise has stopped completely... I have no idea why (don't think it was the accident). Could be good news, or not. Still jumps out of 1 and 2 though.

No such thing as tranny kits, huh? Oh well, worth a shot.

Will be changing the oil tomorrow, we'll see how that looks. Looked pretty good on the dipstick though.

"Having a bent shift fork will make your bike seems as if it's falling out of 2nd and 3rd gear. In second, sometimes it'll fall into nuetral. Also, a bent fork will also cause you to miss shifts to second and third when you're accelerating hard."

i found this in a forum regarding transmissions, though the gears arent the same, might be the same problem?
