Default Changed my accelerator cable, now won't crank

Hi everyone,

As the title says, I changed the accelerator cable on my 1994 F2 and now she won't crank.

To put some bit of history in, I've only just bought the bike a couple of weeks ago and I've been fixing it up, I noticed the accelerator cable was frayed but also that the other (push) cable was not even connected, so I put a new one on and connected both the cables. I put everything back together, pretty certain it's all back as it was but now when I go to start I get nothing! Not even cranking.

I am quite new to bikes so I may be missing something really simple, but I can't figure out why she won't turn over after fitting a cable?..

Any help is appreciated

Ash.

Is the kill switch in the correct position? The connections or wiring could have been damaged when it got moved.

Otherwise, retrace your steps, again.

Demon, you are spot in! Just checked the kill switch and one of the wires has come off, quick bit of solder and she should live! I knew it would be something simple!

Thanks for the help

Ash
