I was expecting around 20,000 on a well maintained chain.

 

the chain i had on the bike was from the original owner and he told me he has never replaced the chain. It was all rusted and everything and needed adjusting a lot. thats why i bought the new kit. The bike has 47,000 miles now and i bought it when it had about 44,000
