i got a 94 f2 16k miles but its not running the best and i can hear the valves ticking would them being out of wack hurt the performance of the bike. and what about does this job cost to have done. thanks

 

You sure its the valves and not a bad CCT? I had to replace mine at about 19k.

Unless someone decided to ride the bike 16k miles with no oil in it, I doubt its your valves. Just because the APE is installed, doesn't mean its tight enough.. Try adjusting it first. I don't know any F2 that ever needed its valves adjusted.. even at 100k+ miles.
