I still think you need to replace the cct with a manual one. Or the cam chain itself is just plain streched & needs replaced. Just because you have taken it apart & cleaned it, doesn't meen its good. The radiator fan not working is not going to cause the cam chain to rattle. Fix the cct, then address the radiator fan issue.

I will definitely invest in a manual cct. From what it looks right now, it seems like best option. However, I have a question and that is, how do I adjust it?? Like I'm sure I'll over tighten it and snap my cam chain or increase wear. Is there a way to know when the manual cct has the recommended tension settings?

well if you look in the "HOW TO:" section there is a bunch of cct intals and they have the recomended tightening for them i think it is you screw it in as tight as you can with your fingers and then 1/4th turn more with a wrench but not sure.

When you took the stock cam chain tensioner off to clean/check it, before you put it back on did you submerge it in oil and pump it in and out to get the air out and oil back in it?

I've forgotten to do so today I submerged it in oil to make sure there were no bubbles trapped inside. The problem still persisted so I replaced the CCT with a manual one. I have no problems anymore
