Ok i had my bike started about a month ago, tried starting it agian yesterday, it turns over and turns over and it will act like its going to start but then it wont. every now and then it will back fire really loud.. the battery is dead so i hooked a battery charger up to it.. can anyone help me?

 

Wait till the battery is finished charging.

While you're waiting, pull the plugs. You may have fouled them trying to force it to start

 

make sure choke is on, battery fully charged, let her rip.

If it still doesnt start and the plugs are good too, may be a carb problem from letting it sit ( especially if its outside), spark

Mine did that. I changed the plugs and it fires up everytime now.

 

Mine did the same thing as well I just empty'd the carb bowls and let it sit a while. Cleaning the carbs is also never a bad idea and in the spring is prob the best time to do it befor summer hits
