cam chain replacement

Default cam chain replacement

how difficult is it to replace the cam chain?? do i need any special tools?? i should note that i am not an idiot when it comes to wrenching!

So I take it our CCT is in the same location? If it is than this will be alot easier than I thought it would be. For those that have gone with the manual CCT did you go with the APE brand?

Hershey, that is what I was thinking as well. Replacing the actual chain is fairly involved and will mean taking apart at least the upper half of the engine while in the bike.I think I read last year a few people did it and theysaid all day job. If I was going to do that andhad a place in my garage, I would invest in the HF motorcycle stand so I could at least work at eye level.
