RECOVERED THIS MORNING

now time to see just how bullet proof honda engines are, looks like they were doing burnouts and took it out to the river yesterday. the radiator fan was not working at the time... low on coolant, and appears to have plenty of oil still! It Runs, also need to check out to see if they shredded the tranny, or cooked the motor <<<any easy ways to see if they burned it up?

front tire and fork seals have been blown for a while though..

not sure if I am just going to find and swap a new front end, or fork seals and brake pads.

Pics:

No clue why this is painted?????

mmm blown fork seals both sides. looks worse in person, brakes are soaked.

hmm nice fab work, guess the oem tool kit is washed down to mexico now.

MUDDD YO

stuff i know i need
brake pads
fork seals
batterybox
front fender
tires/ front end inspected

Rode it a little today, seems to ride straight. Did not go over 40 since the front brakes are crap.

Replacing fork seals tomorrow myself. Going to pay a shop to do the brakes.

I think it is pretty cute they bought (dated 3/7/11 in sharpie the night they stole it)some random motorcycle battery to swap in, spent the time to fab it, added oil, and ran the chain bone dry.

They also stripped the hell out of a bunch of nuts. I am going to have to spend like 40 on fasteners, for all the random crap they messed up or used in place instead.
